I currently call myself an atheist, science junkie, skeptic, environmentalist, feminist, secular humanist, economic capitalist, political socialist, and civil libertarian, among other things. I will try to jot some thoughts down, as time and enthusiasm permits, on what these labels mean to me.
I like the idea of living a life filled with thoughfulness, compassion, curiosity, and creative energy. I like to read, dabble in the arts, hike, run, sketch, cook, and maybe one day even garden and have my own little workshop when I own a house. I am also itching to get into biking and kayaking.
This blog is a place for me to try and take some snapshots of my mind, whether to declutter, rearrange, or to just look back at a later time, either fondly or with embarrassment.
