About

Born in India in the mid-1970s, I moved to the US in 1998 and lived there for 12 years, after which I moved to Singapore at the end of 2010, lived there for a year, and moved back to India toward the end of 2011. After living the life of a returned expatriate for a little over a year, I migrated to Australia in 2013, and currently live and work in Australia.

I call myself an atheist, science junkie, skeptic, environmentalist, feminist, secular humanist, economic capitalist, political socialist, and civil libertarian, among other things. I will try to jot some thoughts down, as time and enthusiasm permits, on what these labels mean to me.

I like the idea of living a life filled with thoughfulness, compassion, curiosity, and creative energy. I like to read, dabble in the arts, hike, sketch, cook, and maybe one day even have my own little workshop when I own a house.

This blog is a place for me to try and take some snapshots of my mind, whether to declutter, rearrange, or to just look back at a later time, either fondly or with embarrassment.
